Abstract: Monthly water and suspended solids samples, collected at the mouth of the St. Lawrence at Wolfe Island, are analyzed for selected organic contaminants. Weekly sampling is conducted for nutrients and major ions, and trace metals are sampled every two weeks. Exit loadings from Lake Ontario are estimated. This program has been operational since 1976.
